RX-0 Unicorn Gundam (Unicorn Mode) (Gundam Standart Fusion Works)

Greetings! Here's another review and set of photos of my other Gundam Standarts. In this post, I'll feature the Unicorn Gundam (Unicorn Mode).

I blocked the stickers, because you know, some copyright stuff (I guess)
   Behold, the Unicorn Gundam!

back of the box that features some details

A clean white to grey fading color at the side of the box.

As usual, on the other side are the other Gundam Standarts (I bet that ZZ Gundam is gonna be heavy)

Here it is on it's plastic case.

A closer look on it's backpack.

The shield
I really like the details on this Gundam's shield, very well painted and it didn't went beyond its lines.  If these are handpainted, they are so f'n epic. Great job once again for Volks Inc!

Machine Gun

Another angle of the machine gun
At first, I didn't notice that it didn't have the Beam Magnum. But I was surprised that it had a machine gun. (fair enough)

Here it is outside its plastic case.

Once again, great detailing for this Gundam Standart, the Anaheim Electronics logo on its left shoulder is really magnificent. The details and metallic paint on its legs are superb as well.

I was surpised that the eyes have really great detail. A work of art indeed.

Gundam Standarts can also be moved, but you can only turn its head and arms.
The legs just stay as they are.

Here it is with the accessories attached.

The details on the backpack and thrusters are really great. And that good looking metallic color on it's inner legs.

The machine gun attached to the arm

The detail on that shield is just epic.

Now here's some poses!

This one deserves to be in a glass case.
So here that's all for today's post, the Gundam Standart Unicorn Gundam in it's unicorn mode. A really nice Standart to display on your shelf, on your desk in the office, or inside your car's dashboard. My only problems on this figure is once again the same as Char's Rick Dom's; it's lack of even more accessories. I just really hope that they'll stick with the same accessories that they had with their first releases. But overall, the detailing in this one is really epic, the artists who made this standart derserves more credit.

Thanks for visiting my blog, and keep in touch for some new posts.
Watch out for my review and photos on my very first Gundam Standart, MS-06J Zaku II

MS-09RS Rick Dom Char Aznable's Customized Mobile Suit (Gundam Standart Fusion Works)

So here it is, a more closer look of the Gundam Standart version of Char's Rick Dom. As I said, I bought it because it was on sale. And of course, It's Char Aznable's Rick Dom!

Why do they always put a really hard sticker in front???  T__T
Here's the left (or right?) side of the box. It features the other lineup of Gundam Standarts.

On the right side, some little shots of the parts and a full black background and red fonts.

And also, many details at the back.  ^_^

Here it is inside it's plastic case.

At the back (Still inside the plastic case) So as you can see the humongous bazooka (and it's sword) isn't attached yet, it is separated and is inside the a plastic (which my brother threw away)

Here's the left side of the Bazooka

Front side

And then the left side.
The Bazooka itself is kinda heavy that the Rick Dom can't manage to lift it for a long time. But the Bazoka has a really great details in it and these guys at Volks Inc. made a really job.

Enough with the previews, here it is!

The details are really great with this one, Char's logo on it's left shoulder and the Principality of Zeon logo on it's right is beautifully painted. Also the details on it's hands are newtype skills. (hehe)
My only complain about this one is that, where the hell is it's eye? The red dot on it's head is nowhere to be found. I guess the artists thought that this mobile suit didn't quite had some screen time so maybe that's why it's off. But still, why?!?

right side
So as you can see it it can lift the bazooka. I had a really hard time taking a shot of it (slightly) lifting the bazooka.

left side
back
Also another complain is that they might as well added addional empty hands and another hand for it's heat sword so that it can have other poses and forms just like my Gundam Standart Zaku II. (which was part of their first lineup years ago)

Here's Char and his  Rick Dom lifting his Mega Bazooka.
And here it is putting it down.
Here's a more (kinda) closer look of it's backpack.
Glory to the Principality of Zeon!!!

So here it is a really great looking collectible for the fans of the Red Comet. A really rare one, because this is his Rick Dom. The only negative this are, it's limited accessories and it's eye. But this one has really great detail in return and of course, it is owned by Char Aznable himself.

Thanks for checking out my post! Be sure to stick around for some new previews and reviews!  ^_^

[First Look] Gundam Standart Unicorn Gundam and Char's Rick Dom

Last week I stumbled upon a toysale, so my curiosity made me enter the whole pool of people buying some toys for their children. So me, a boy stuck in a 20 yr. old's body went in and check out to see if I could buy some Gunplas.

As it turns out there are no Gunplas to be found. So I asked one of their staff if they have Gunplas and he pointed me to a small stand.

So I was able to buy these two Gundam Standarts. Char's Rick Dom and a Unicorn Gundam (Unicorn Mode)

Here they are outside of their plastic cases.

So as I said earlier, I bought these two at a toysale. My toysale intel tells me that the Toysale is still ongoing until TODAY. So I guess today'll be my last shot to buy purchase the Gundam Exia Amazing at a cut-off price. Please pray that I'll be going home with it.  :)

Stick around here on my blog to check out their full review!  ^_^

HGUC AMS-129 Geara Zulu (Guards Type) Review

Just sharin' some photos of my Geara Zulu (Guards Type) 1/144 HGUC Gunpla

note: This is a bootleg, since I don't have any money yet to buy an original.
Sorry Bandai! (for now)

First of all, enjoyed building this one. I was surprised that these new HGs improved. (Unlike the previous ones) I remember my brother bought an old HG Abyss Gundam, and it didn't had that, "HG" feel, it just felt like a little improved version of A NG 1/144.

This new HG seems like it revived itself from the usual old HG. I kinda felt like building a 1/144 MG.

Now time for some poses!

This Gunpla had some problems though, it's left arm always falls off.

And those small yellow/gold parts on the feet always pop off. I just super glued them to make it permanent.

The hand for the beam machine gun also had a problem, as always super glue saves the day!

                                          A fire a away shot

                                          Shot with the grenade.

I haven't cleaned the nub marks. (sorry!)

Well, I really enjoy building this Gunpla. Keep in touch with my blog because I'll be posting some clean (with panel lines, matte top coating, more good angles and no nub marks)  photos of it.

Thanks for visiting!
